Why have a Google Street View VR Tour?

People like to know what to expect. A Street View tour lets them explore your space from home, helping them feel comfortable and informed before they visit. It strengthens trust, improves engagement, and shows your environment exactly as it is. Turning online interest into real visits...

Google Street View Virtual Tours

A Google Street View virtual tour lets customers explore your space on Google Maps and your Google Business Profile. I create high quality 360 degree photography that allows people to walk through your venue, see what you offer, and build trust before they even arrive. Although the old Street View Trusted programme has ended, Street View itself is very much alive, and businesses can still publish full tours on Google Maps. I continue to create professional virtual tours and upload them directly to your listing, exactly as before.

A virtual tour that appears on Google Maps

A Street View virtual tour brings your space to life. Customers can move through each area, look around in every direction, and understand what they can expect when they visit. This extra layer of transparency helps people feel more confident in choosing you, whether you run a restaurant, retail shop, health service, event venue, gym, café, hospitality business, studio, clinic, or agency.

Why Street View still matters

Street View remains one of the most visible elements on Google. When people search for you, the tour appears directly on your business listing and on Google Maps. This improves trust, increases engagement, and gives potential customers a clear sense of who you are.

A virtual tour can help with:

• Higher click through rates from search results
• A better first impression of your business
• Increased bookings and enquiries
• Stronger credibility for new visitors
• More time spent on your listing
• Better visibility in local search

Samantha Mignano, Google Street View Photographer

I am a Google Street View photographer

I was part of the original Google Business View photographer programme and later qualified as a Street View Trusted Photographer. I have been creating virtual tour photography and videography since 2007. Google closed the Trusted programme in 2024 and opened Street View contributions to everyone, which means the overall quality now varies a lot. The original programme required strict technical standards, careful stitching, accurate mapping, and review by Google before a tour could be published.

I still work to those standards today. I am a Google trained Street View photographer and produce professional virtual tours that are published directly to Google Maps and Google Business Profiles. Tours can also be extended with custom overlays for use on client websites, similar to the enhanced versions I created for North Bristol NHS Trust.

How a Google Street View virtual tour is created

The process is simple and tailored to your space.

• We discuss the layout of your venue and decide the best route
• I capture a series of high resolution 360 degree photographs
• The images are stitched, edited, and colour matched
• I build a walkable route through your space
• The completed tour is uploaded to your Google Business Profile
• It appears on Google Maps once approved

There is no interruption to your customers and the process is quick and discreet.

Can businesses still publish virtual tours on Google

Yes. Even though the old Trusted Photographer scheme no longer runs, Google still supports full virtual tours. The upload tools remain in place and Street View is still a core part of Google Maps.

I handle everything for you, including the upload, mapping, and placement of each scene. Your tour will appear on Google Maps and you can also upload it to your website or we can host it for you.

Examples of businesses that benefit from a virtual tour

• Restaurants, cafés, bars, and food venues
• Retail shops and showrooms
• Gyms and fitness studios
• Hotels, B and Bs, holiday lets, and hospitality venues
• Creative spaces and studios
• Healthcare clinics and hospitals
• Beauty, wellness, and treatment spaces
• Offices and coworking environments
• Museums, educational buildings, and public venues

If your business has a physical space that customers visit, a virtual tour can help people choose you over a competitor.

Virtual tour pricing

The cost of a virtual tour depends on the size of your space and the number of panoramic points needed to create a smooth route. Smaller spaces are quick and affordable to capture. Larger venues, multi level sites, and complex layouts require more time and detail.

For a clear price, please visit the pricing page or get in touch with details of your space.

Before you go, why not take a quick look at an example below

This was a project for North Bristol NHS Trust, featuring Cossham Hospital. This tour includes customisable overlays, allowing users to jump to different areas of the hospital and explore hotspots and information within the interactive tour. It demonstrates how virtual tours help customers understand and explore your space online.

This is just one of the many tours we have produced for clients across the UK.
